   1 This is an alpha release of version 3.0 of the Project Athena Zephyr
   2 notification system.

   4 Zephyr allows users to send messages to other users or to groups of
   5 users.  Users can view incoming Zephyr messages as windowgrams
   6 (transient X windows) or as text on a terminal. Zephyr can optionally
   7 make use of the Kerberos version 4 security library or the Hesiod
   8 service name resolution library.

  10 Bug reports or patches should go to bug-zephyr@mit.edu.  Please do not
  11 send questions about snapshots; they are not supported.
