Merge tag 'bitmain-soc-5.4' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/mani/linux-bitmain into arm/dt

Bitmain SoC changes for v5.4:

Most of the basic infrastructure is completed for BM1880 SoC except
common clock support. We are still couple of patchset away from
booting a distro from eMMC/SD with mainline. Below are the changes
for this cycle:

- Added Reset controller support to BM1880 SoC based on reset-simple
  driver.
- Modified pinctrl memory map for BM1880 SoC. The initial pinctrl support
included the PWM registers as a part of the pinctrl memory map. But this
turned out to be useless as PWM registers are not handling any pin muxing
at all. So removed the PWM registers from pinctrl memory map.

Linus Walleij [Wed, 28 Aug 2019 07:55:14 +0000 (09:55 +0200)]
ARM: dts: ux500: Update thermal zone

After moving the DB8500 thermal driver to use device tree
we define the default thermal zone for the Ux500 in the
device tree replacing the oldstyle hardcoded trigger
points.

This default thermal zone utilizes the cpufreq driver
(using the generic OF cpufreq back-end) as a passive
cooling device, and defines a critical trip point when
the temperature goes above 85 degrees celsius which will
(hopefully) make the system shut down if the temperature
cannot be controlled.

This default policy can later be augmented for specific
subdevices if these have tighter temperature conditions.

After this patch we get:

/sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone0 (CPU thermal zone)
This reports the rough temperature and trip points
from the thermal zone in the device tree.

By executing two yes > /dev/null & jobs fully utilizing
the two CPU cores we can notice the temperature climbing
in the thermal zone in response and falling when we kill
the jobs.

/syc/class/thermal/cooling_device0 (cpufreq cooling)
this reports all 4 available cpufreq frequencies as
states.

arm64: dts: allwinner: orange-pi-3: Enable WiFi

Orange Pi 3 has AP6256 WiFi/BT module. WiFi part of the module is called
bcm43356 and can be used with the brcmfmac driver. The module is powered by
the two always on regulators (not AXP805).

WiFi uses a PG port with 1.8V voltage level signals. SoC needs to be
configured so that it sets up an 1.8V input bias on this port. This is done
by the pio driver by reading the vcc-pg-supply voltage.

You'll need a fw_bcm43456c5_ag.bin firmware file and nvram.txt
configuration that can be found in the Xulongs's repository for H6:

https://github.com/orangepi-xunlong/OrangePiH6_external/tree/master/ap6256

Mainline brcmfmac driver expects the firmware and nvram at the following
paths relative to the firmware directory:

  brcm/brcmfmac43456-sdio.bin

arm64: dts: allwinner: a64: Add A64 OlinuXino board (with eMMC)

A64 OLinuXino board from Olimex has three variants with onboard eMMC:
A64-OLinuXino-1Ge16GW, A64-OLinuXino-1Ge4GW and A64-OLinuXino-2Ge8G-IND. In
addition, there are two variants without eMMC. One without eMMC and one with SPI

variants.

This patch has been tested on A64-OLinuXino-1Ge16GW with Linux 5.0 from Debain.
Basic benchmarks using Flexible IO Tester show reasonable performance from the
